Oolite House is a family home nestled into the western escarpment of the Cotswold Hills. The design of the building has incorporated several key client requirements including being environmentally friendly and sustainable both through the construction process and owner occupancy.
Key challenges
The Key challenges during the scheme have been primarily based on the different substructure options being presented by the design team and subsequent potential cost implications due to the significant below-ground structure and the need to deal with difficult ground conditions.
